The Quarter Notes have been very busy this week preparing for Father's Day! They delved into making handmade projects, which include crafting projects, and decorating by adding stickers, painting, and perfecting their art. These enjoyable Father’s Day art pieces will not only please Dad, but they will assist in strengthening their fine motor skills! It is an exciting time of family celebration and the smiles on the Quarter Note’s faces are bright and glowing!

In Sports this week, Mr. Perry worked diligently on several parts of an obstacle course. He set up several stations for the Quarter notes, which include cars, bikes, and an area to work with tools! The children loved sports so much this week, they did not want sports class to end!

In Music this week with Miss Lisa, The Quarter Notes worked on instrument recognition. Our students immediately recognized the trumpet, the piano, and the oboe. We listened to Peter and the wolf, and identified the wolf as the French Horn and the cat as the Clarinet! Miss Lisa also worked on the famous Suzuki bow, which is so imperative to future violin performances!

Outside this week, the students basked in the approaching summer weather. We played in the sandbox, used the slides, sang songs, giggled with friends, and enjoyed the long awaited warm weather.
